I am trained in Person-Centred and Existential Therapy, which is a branch of the Humanistic School of Psychology/Psychotherapy and with vigorous continual Professional training in other therapeutic models such as Feminist Therapy and CBT, I apply an integrative approach to my work to meet each individual’s therapeutic needs.
I have extensive knowledge and experience working with individuals and within the NHS—specifically in the CMHT setting and Voluntary Sector Mental Health Charities. Throughout my training and, most importantly, my practice, my therapeutic model has been shaped by the intersectional dynamics of pain and struggle, race and gender. I am attuned to these factors to better understand the complex layers of political and social discourse present in our society. I have been fortunate to have worked as a counsellor within the hugely diverse communities that have inspired and developed my therapeutic practice. I seek to inquire even further to help better understand emerging complex issues so we can move forward with the unfolding life events for a better future.
My professional qualifications and Experiences are:
